Buccal Intraoral Massage

Buccal massage is the most advanced rejuvenating and therapeutic facial massage technique. Buccal face massage has been growing in popularity in the last few years and taken New York to the next holistic level, ever since it was discovered that many celebrities and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle herself swear by the many benefits of this truly unique facial massage. We love as usual we are one of the first schools to bring this accredited course to the South West.

Buccal means “cheek” in Latin and the Buccal Massage technique traces back to mid-1980s. The massage is partly performed from inside the mouth to get a better access to facial muscles (therapist wears gloves for that part). The buccal massage is a relatively new technique developed to restore muscular facial tone. The facial massage performed is based on pressure points techniques, gliding movements linked with a lymphatic flow.

The Buccal massage allows us to reach deeper layers of the skin such as the muscle tissue, ligaments, and bones. Superficial facial massage only achieves superficial results. By working on the deeper structures, we can naturally increase facial tone, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and improve skins complexion. As a result, we can dramatically reduce visual signs of ageing without surgical interventions. This technique requires great knowledge of anatomical structures of the face, as well as the skill to work on individual muscles. Within this course you will learn a sequences of a 45 minute mixed massage movements, looking at individual clients concerns and requests for facial sculpting.

The Sculptural Facial Massage techniques does exactly what it spells. In fact, the therapist becomes a skilful sculptor who moulds the client’s face, correcting problematic areas and creating ideal, youth-like lines.

The method’s key to success lies in its simultaneous focus on two different phases: sculptural and deep tissue. During the sculptural phase the therapist literally sculpts the face, giving results from: double chin, puffy sagging cheeks, dark tera trough area and misplaced eyelids, lowered mouth corners, wrinkles between the eyebrows etc.

The deep tissue phase is carried out through the oral cavity using especially thin sterile gloves. The muscles are toned in short sessions through different methods and the client feels like his face is filled from the inside. Combining all these techniques leads to an effective non-surgical facelift and more importantly is a natural process which opposes plastic surgeries, tendency to form a new face and ignore natural rejuvenation mechanisms

There’s one type of internal face massage called Buccal which is more of a holistic technique for getting rid of jaw tension and headaches. It also involves using two hands inside the mouth which I find amazing around my lip and mouth area plumping the fine lines and lifting my cupid bow. I developed my own technique called The Inner Facial Sculpture for individual clients looking at their needs and symmetrical facial shapes, placing all the 3 techniques together.

We work on each side of the face individually – for some clients we can work on one side more than the other because they want more symmetry.’

Our Face sculpting, buccal training, also covers lymphatic techniques.
This is a great holistic approach to treat clients individually face modelling or it can be added to a natural skin aesthetic treatment in 20-minute snippets.

This course covers 3 complimentary techniques that can be placed together as a luxury facial sculpting, or you can offer snippets of 20 minutes to add to other treatments. Or can be a wonderful 45-minute indulgence of pure face sculpture and face modelling.

We show you the –
Face sculpting, buccal training, with different lymphatic techniques of facial massages.

  • The final part is designed to provide you with techniques that can be applied to points and along meridians to enhance massage. We also link the lymphatic flow movements as part of the wonderful sequence. Learn points to reduce pain, anxiety, manage, stress, promote muscle relaxation, relieve headaches.
