Chemical Peels Training

Our comprehensive chemical peel training day provides you with the essential knowledge and skills to immediately integrate these new techniques into your practice. A chemical peel is a technique used to improve the condition and the texture of the skin by removing the outer epidermal layers to rejuvenate and refresh the complexion. The chemical peels can be used in conjunction with the deep exfoliating action of a medical microdermabrasion, these treatments can provide excellent results for your clients.

This is a safe, medical strength chemical peel with no downtime, that has become a rapidly growing trend outlining a shift in the role of chemical peels in facial rejuvenation. Prospective clients are tempted into the arena of medical aesthetics with less invasive treatments, opting for chemical peels and advanced cosmeceuticals as an introduction to non-surgical treatments. There are many different skin peels available containing different combinations and quantities of acids.

Peels range in severity from superficial, which work on the uppermost layers of the skin and give the skin a radiant glow, to deep peels, which penetrate down into the dermis and can cause layers of skin to peel away. Chemical peels are a fantastic addition to any aesthetic or skin clinic as they treat a variety of skin conditions such as fine lines wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage, scarring, and acne. As the popularity has risen for aesthetic treatments such as botox and dermal fillers, so has the interest in skin rejuvenation treatments.

At Bristol Beauty Aesthetic training you will learn how to diagnose skin conditions and treat clients with the correct peeling system to achieve the best result, by using a proven method of combination peels such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and mandelic acid.

You will learn how to treat a variety of skin conditions with the use of different effective peels. You can combine chemical peels and microdermabrasion treatments that can be offered as a course of treatments you can be sure to have repeat business from your clients.

The skin is thoroughly cleansed and then the peel solution is applied to the skin. Depending on the peel treatment being carried out, the solution may be left on the skin for a couple of minutes or for longer. The patient may experience some heat or tingling during this time. Once the time is up, the peel solution is neutralised and removed from the skin.

A skin peel is a treatment which uses a solution made up of different types of acids to rejuvenate and renew the skin through increased cell turnover. Skin peels act as a chemical exfoliant, removing the upper layers of skin and dead skin cells to reveal the fresh new skin underneath.

The chemical skin peel training includes teaching using re-surfacing peels at 20% and 40% glycolic/lactic, salicylic peel & the mandelic.

The combination of glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid and mandelic within a superficial chemical peel provides a skin exfoliant to chemically remove keratinised structures of the epidermis, restoring a radiant complexion. Safe and easy to use with no downtime.
