You will need to have the study of phlebotomy with this advanced course or we can add it onto the study discounted. The study of this course is based on injections; however you can cover Mesotherapy techniques or Microneedling or why not even study both and mix modalities in one treatment plan. We can give you a price, if you need to study the above or have already studied some of the protocols to this treatment.

If you already previously studied PRP, Phlebotomy or Mesotherapy, this course may interest you being an advanced course involving Phlebotomy and the different technique of PRF. This course is also great for advanced skin practitioners and the aesthetics field.

PRF is a treatment that involves the use of your own body’s cocktail of platelets. It helps by stimulating your skin and subcutaneous tissues which helps eliminate wrinkles and fine lines. This treatment can be used with fillers to enhance the effects of fillers. PRF is used for under eye hollowing provides a younger look by stimulating the tissue and smoothing out the contour. PRF is also very well known for hair restoration results and treating target areas such as lips, nasolabial folds.

PRF is a treatment that involves the use of your body’s own platelets and contains very high concentrations of white blood cells, fibrin and a small amount of stem cells found circulating in our bloodstreams. To create PRF the blood is spun at a lower speed so that the layers of the blood do not separate out as distinctly. This allows some of the white blood cells and stem cells to remain within the platelet layer, instead of being separated.

The use of Blood Concentrates is becoming more and more popular in medical Aesthetics.

Fibrin is a response to an injury anywhere in the body. Platelets circulating in the blood will bind to a scaffold of fibrin. When platelets bind to the fibrin scaffold, growth factors are released. This starts the wound healing process by creating new skin cells, collagen, and blood vessels. By injecting PRF into an area on the face or scalp, a controlled inflammatory response is created, which kick starts new cell growth, hair growth and collagen production.

Fibrin is a biological scaffold that forms in response to an injury anywhere in the body. Platelets circulating in the blood will bind to a scaffold of fibrin. When platelets bind to the fibrin scaffold, they become activated and release growth factors, which start the wound healing process by creating new skin cells, collagen and blood vessels. By injecting PRF into an area on the face or scalp it “kick starts” new cell growth and collagen production.

PRF Under eye is used to address many of the same issues as PRP, but PRF re-leases growth factors for much longer, up to one week, versus PRP which releases growth factors for a few hours. This means that PRF has longer-term benefits when introduced to a specific area. The growth factors are what stimulate the stem cells to improve collagen and elastin in the skin. The results are faster and more robust than PRP infusion. PRF is for local treatment rather than full-face infusion.

The prepared PRF is immediately ready for injection into the face to fill facial folds and wrinkles, to plump the hollows under the eyes and dark circles, and to improve skin tone and texture. The PRF can also be injected into the scalp to aid with hair restoration and growth.

The skin under the eyes is one of the thinnest skin on our body. It can be one of the first areas that show signs of aging. PRF is one of the ideal treatments that im-proves this area and can be a better option than heat-based skin tightening devices and dermal fillers.

PRF facial rejuvenation can also enhance the results of fillers under the eyes. In-jecting fillers under the eyes, like Volbella, can instantly improve the hollowness under the eyes and is a fabulous treatment to instantly rejuvenate this area. How-ever, too many fillers under the eyes can make the eyes look puffy or cause a blu-ish tinge if injected too superficially. Also, fillers are not a great treatment for under the eyes and cannot treat the crepe skin and lines, they can only add volume and diminish some of the dark circles. The results are usually unsuccessful. Injecting PRF in addition to the fillers can significantly enhance the results of the fillers by tightening the loose skin under the eyes and improving the dark circles. We prefer to start with PRF and then watch the results unfold prior to opting for additional treatments.

The biggest issue with getting PRF under eye treatments done is the blood draw and the meticulous production. PRF is very special and once produced, we have just 15 minutes to get it placed into the area before it is no longer a liquid. We will have everything ready for you to be treated before we draw. Plan on about a 45 minute appointment time at the office. A full PRF treatment requires at least 2 treatments 6 weeks apart.

Day 1 – Theory of PRP with either Microneedling or Mesotherapy or both home study

Day 2 – Theory of Phlebotomy home study

  • Infection Control
  • Needle stick injury and how to deal with it

Day 3 This is a practical day and consists of – study in the training facilities with live models

  • Process of taking blood from an artificial arm in a correct and safe way and role play
  • Techniques and practical application of taking live bloods
  • Clinical assessments on live models
  • Learners are assessed on performance which must be passed before completion of the course.
  • Application of the PRF with Mesotherapy technique or Microneedling.
