Threading Training

Our threading course will teach you the techniques of threading using traditional methods from the Middle East.  You will learn the cradle method of threading which covers all areas of the face with full demonstrations. You can even study the Brow defining course which includes threading.

You will learn to create the perfect arch for your client, looking at facial shapes and tailoring the creation of your Bespoke Defined Brow, for each individual client. Threading is a method of hair removal originating in Asia. In more recent times it has gained popularity in Western countries, especially with a cosmetic application particularly for removing/shaping eyebrows.

We teach you to thread with a thin (cotton) thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short rows of hair. We teach you the hand method where you cradle the thread, it is more hygienic than the mouth method. Threading allows a more precise shape which creates a defined finish to the defined bespoke brow.

Threading is a popular hair removal method used on facial hair using special thread that is twisted to remove hair from the root. The hair removal lasts between 4-6 weeks.

You will gain an understanding of the health and safety involved in working in a salon, an understanding of hair growth and how this relates to working on a client. You will be able to complete a full client consultation and go onto complete a treatment as well as provide full aftercare advice, learning several different threading techniques for eyebrows, upper lip, chin and the general face.

All tools and equipment are provided for use on the day. Students will have models provided be prepared to give and receive a treatment.

This course is made up of both theory and practical based training. As we are proud to have you fully competent as well as confident in your new skill, upon completion you will be issued with a professionally recognised accredited diploma certificate.  This certificate will enable you to gain insurance with ABT, and other insurance providers enabling you to work professionally.
